| Event: | SPEAR Ball 2010 |
| Numbers: | 300 guests |
| Venue: | St. Paul's Centre, London W4 |
| Brief: | Catering and event management for this high profile charity ball to include an innovative themed four-course meal, table setting and entertainment. The Charity uses the unusual setting of the historic St. Paul's Church in Hammersmith (a venue not often used for corporate events/private hire) which means that there are many challenges to overcome to ensure that standards of quality and service are not compromised whilst preserving the integrity, fabric and security of the venue. |
| Theme: | London Traditional |
|
Format: The theme for the evening was red, white and blue with tablecloths, plates and decorations resplendent in the colours of the Union Jack. A selection of nine hot and cold canapés were served during the drinks reception followed by a ‘gourmet' take on old British favourites including steak, ale and oyster pie and a supreme of guinea fowl with wild mushrooms and sloe gin sauce. The canapés were presented on large white platters with red chili and blue glass accents. Some canapés were presented on white china spoons, on red or blue skewers and in shot glasses. Guests commended Ambassador on the superb presentation and innovative menu.
Testimonial: "...Yet again Ambassador has exceeded all expectations in providing our sophisticated guests with a delightful menu and fantastic service. We are extremely grateful for all the help provided in planning and putting together such a successful event."
